Administration Denounces 'Democratic Fabrication' as Further Jeffrey Epstein Photos Made Public

House Democrats have published a new tranche of what they termed "troubling" photographs from the estate of convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein, depicting among others Donald Trump, Bill Clinton, and ex-UK prince Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor.

The initial drop of 19 photographs—a portion of which have been seen before—along with another 70 issued later on Friday constitute a tiny fraction of the almost 100,000 images provided to the House oversight committee, which is looking into the actions and ties of Epstein.

The disgraced financier died by an apparent self-inflicted death in a New York detention cell in 2019 after being indicted on sex-trafficking charges.

Notable Figures in the Images

Among the notable figures seen in the initial batch are celebrities featuring film director Woody Allen; Microsoft creator Bill Gates; and Richard Branson, creator of the Virgin empire.

Donald Trump is featured in three of the first nineteen images. In one, he is pictured with six women, whose faces are redacted.

Administration Response

The White House addressed the release in a statement, charging Democrats of selectively "hand-picking" the pictures for partisan aims and to "attempt to fabricate a false account."

"This Democratic fabrication against President Trump has been repeatedly debunked," a White House spokesperson stated, maintaining that "this presidency has achieved more for Epstein's survivors than Democrats have ever done by consistently demanding disclosure, disclosing numerous documents of documents, and calling for more inquiries into Epstein's Democrat friends."

Congressional Democrat Remarks

The photos were disclosed lacking captions, but per a Democratic representative from California and ranking member of the oversight committee, they elicit additional doubts about Epstein's links with the rich and powerful.

"It is time to end this White House cover-up and deliver justice to the victims of Jeffrey Epstein and his well-connected allies," he stated in a release.

The disclosure of these images comes as the oversight committee proceeding with its probe into the affair.
