Anthony Joshua prepares to battle the American YouTuber in an eight-round contest which will be broadcast in real-time on Netflix.
British boxer Anthony Joshua stated he will "dominate completely" the American and "overpower" the American as the pair met personally to publicize next month's boxing match.
Former two time world heavyweight champion Joshua battles social media star turned fighter Jake Paul - in what is, by the numbers, a huge uneven pairing - at Miami's arena on December 19th.
Boxer's Mindset
"I'm going to injure his face and hurt his body. I'm here to prove my superiority," the British boxer, 35, said.
"I'll stamp all over him. That's the boxer's mindset.
"I'm going to genuinely try to hurt him. That's what I want to do."
Civil Interaction
Despite these statements, a composed Anthony Joshua and internet personality Paul - typically famous for his theatrics - shared friendly words and remained civil with each other.
Paul rather attacked former Joshua's rival the Cameroonian fighter and described him as "ridiculous" after Ngannou declined a fight offer.
Taking Aim at Tyson Fury
Joshua, in the meantime, criticized British rival Tyson Fury - and refused a large bet 'The Gypsy King' states he will put on a Paul victory.
"Jake Paul outshines Fury - he's present here," the boxer commented.
"I respect him for that."
Legitimate Opponent
Despite saying he intends to hurt Jake Paul, Anthony Joshua declined to speak negatively about his opponent's fighting skills.
"Jake is a credible opponent," he remarked.
Jake Paul's Background
Jake Paul - who first rose to fame on the television network - has primarily fought MMA fighters or past-their-prime fighters since turning professional.
He lost to Briton Tommy Fury in 2023.
Commercial Success
However, the novice remains one of the sport's biggest commercial attractions, consistently making huge financial rewards.
Prediction and Confidence
The 28-year-old predicted a KO victory in the fourth or fifth round and claimed he would derail the highly-expected match between Joshua and Fury, which is reportedly under discussion for two years from now.
"The next fight will be myself against Tyson Fury in the coming year," Jake Paul declared.
Physical Difference
As the two fighters engaged in the traditional confrontation, with their size difference on show, it drove home just how surprising this entire matchup is - and how astonishing it is that the fight is really going ahead.
